There was 1 former college player that picked up a title this week with Tennys Sandgren (Tennessee ’11) winning the $15K Charlottesville, Virginia Future with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Ernesto Escobedo. It was Sandgren’s 9th career pro title (8 Futures and 1 Challenger)
Roberto Cid (South Florida Sr) made it to the finals of the $10K Bursa, Turkey Future before falling 7-5, 6-3 to #253 Yannick Jankovits.
Alex Sarkissian (Pepperdine ’14) made it to the finals of the $10K Hong Kong Future before retiring down 4-1 in the 1st to #213 Ti Chen.
In the College on Tour tab I added the point totals and prize money that the guys are playing for each week.
As I go through these results each week its amazing at the number of guys that I see that were 5-star or blue chips in high school that for whatever reason didn’t go to college. Many of them either don’t have a ranking or are down close to 2000 so you have to wonder what led them to go the route that they went (academics, thought they were pro ready, couldn’t afford college, etc). 2 that I noticed today that are playing in qualies in Buffalo are Ognjen Samardzic and Maksim Tikhomirov. Samardzic was a 5-star that committed to George Washington for the fall of 2013 but it doesn’t appear he ever ended up there. Samardzic was at one time in the top 15 of his class per TennisRecruiting.Net but he has yet to earn a point on the pro tour. Maksim Tikhomirov was a blue chip in the class of 2008 that never went to college and in the last 7 years he hasn’t broke the top 1500 in the ATP rankings.
Below are the results of the guys that made it to at least the semis of an event and below that are all results from last week.

Gators has left a new comment on your post "CTT's Mission":
Sekou left University of Florida after the 2010-2011 season, his sophomore year (moved comment to here since system will erase the others)

The year after the school is the year they last were at that school – not necessarily the year they graduated (if they graduated)
