The draws were released on Tuesday night for the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships which will be held at the USTA Billie Jean National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. We already knew the top seeds but now we have the matchups to go with those seeds. Since the singles draw is limited to 32 players there aren’t many first round mismatches so it should be wall-to-wall quality tennis all weekend. Another great thing about this tournament is the schedule which has the championship matches on a Sunday and not a Monday (Men’s AA/National Team Indoors) or Tuesday (NCAA).

Per the USTA’s preview if an American wins or reaches the men’s or women’s singles final this weekend, he or she will automatically earn a wild card into a future USTA Pro Circuit tournament. American singles champions will also automatically earn a place on the 2017 USTA Collegiate National Team.

The ITA has a solid preview which has a lot of facts and figures about past champions so I recommend giving that a read to get caught up on some NIIC history.

FloTennis will provide live streaming of all courts though you have to be a subscriber to view it ($19.99 month or $150 year) and there will be live scoring.

ITA’s Tournament Site which has all draws including match times.
