Wednesdays are always a little quiet so I’ll look ahead a little to show you what’s in store for the rest of the week.

Also make sure you click on the link and read the nice comeback story about William Jewell College’s Men’s and Women’s Head Coach Paul Worstell who has overcome acute lymphoblastic leukemia and made a successful return to the courts.  It wasn’t an easy road for Worstell who endured 9 rounds of chemotherapy and eventually had a life saving stem cell transplant but has come through it all .  Worstell’s Cardinals are currently 2-3 with a home match coming up this Saturday against Cowley County Community College.

Friday has 4 really good matches on the docket with the most intriguing one taking place in Columbus as Ohio State puts its 200 match home court winning streak on the line against #1 Oklahoma.  A year ago Ohio State was the reigning National Indoor Champion and #1 ranked team but Oklahoma took them out in Norman.  The roles are reversed this year as Oklahoma is the reigning National Indoor Champs and current #1.

#23 Notre Dame at #44 Virginia Tech – 2pm est
#21 Northwestern at #27 Indiana – 2pm est
#10 Texas A&M at #4 Georgia – 2:30pm est
#31 NC State at #19 North Carolina – 3pm est
#12 Virginia at #20 Wake Forest – 4pm est
#11 Florida at #14 Vanderbilt – 5pm est
#28 LSU at #40 South Carolina – 5pm est
#1 Oklahoma at #8 Ohio State – 6pm est
Also on Friday the HEB Tournament of Champions gets underway in Corpus Christi, TX.  I don’t think there is any live scoring for this one but you can go to Texas A&M-CC’s site for updated draw information.
Saturday’s schedule is a light one with only nobody in the top 30 playing each other.
Sunday has a few that could be interesting with TCU and Wake Forest the only matchup between top 20 schools.
#2 Duke at #44 Virginia Tech
#13 TCU at #20 Wake Forest
#29 Florida State at #19 North Carolina
#5 Baylor at #47 Memphis
#28 LSU at #4 Georgia
