College on Tour Weekly Recap/Results: 8/31 – 9/6

It was another strong week for the former college guys on Tour as Nik Scholtz and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan each claimed Futures singles titles.

Scholtz (Ole Miss ’15) won his 5th career Futures title after defeating Javier Pulgar-Garcia 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 in the finals of the Gabon F2.  It was Scholtz’s 1st title this year after winning 3 a year ago.

Nedunchezhiyan (Washington ’11) won his 7th career Futures title after defeating Prajnesh Gunneswaran 7-6(8), 6-4 in finals of the India F12. All 7 of Nedunchezhiyan’s singles titles have come in his native India.
