Eubanks Strolls into Champaign Semis, Mike Patrick Steps Down at Tennessee, Delray WC Tournament

Georgia Tech junior Chris Eubanks won his first-ever main draw Challenger match on Monday at the JSM Challenger of Champaign-Urbana and on Thursday he moved into the semifinals after Michael Mmoh withdrew with a left elbow strain. Eubanks entered the week with an ATP ranking of 937 but he’s now headed inside the top 650 with a chance to go even higher if he can get past the second seed Henri Laaksonen on Friday night.Five of the eight guys remaining in the doubles semifinals have college ties with Dominik Koepfer (Tulane ’16) and Alex Lawson (Notre Dame ’16) set to meet Luke Bambridge and Liam Broady while Austin Krajicek (Texas A&M...
